The Sunshine Rescue Group's Mission: We are a 100%
volunteer-run organization with a mission to rescue abandoned, unwanted
kittens from local communities and shelters.
When rescuing kittens from the community, we require that those releasing
kittens have the kittens’ parents spayed and neutered, whenever possible, or
that a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Program be initiated in their
neighborhood.
Once in our rescue, we do everything we can to make our charges as healthy
and as highly adoptable as possible and provide these innocent victims of an
uncaring or under-educated society with the best possible start in life.
- The Sunshine Rescue Group is a 501c3 non-profit
organization. Learn more about us!
- We cannot continue operations without supporters such
as yourself. Whether it be by donating directly to us or by
purchasing items through affiliate programs, every little
bit helps our feline friends in need.
- We rely heavily on volunteers to foster kittens and
sometimes even cats. Because we do not have a central
facility, all of our rescued animals live in foster homes.
The more foster homes, the more animals we can save.
- Adoption counselors are a vital part of our operations and
work in the community to educate and to ensure that our
kittens find great life-long homes.
- We provide links and information on a variety of topics.
